Microland signs strategic alliance with Serco Solutions, UK, for IT Infrastructure Management

Microland Limited, India’s leading IT Infrastructure Management company, today inaugurated a dedicated center for providing remote IT Infrastructure Management Services (IMS) to Serco Solutions, UK, a division of Serco Group plc.

Mr Kiran Karnik, President of NASSCOM, inaugurated the Center. The Center located at Electronics City, Bangalore, is spread across 22,000 square feet and will seat 250 network engineers. This is Microland’s fourth Operations Management Center and has a state-of-the-art Network Operations Center (NOC), connected over high-speed links to the UK, supported by sophisticated monitoring and management tools.

Microland will provide 24/7 IT infrastructure monitoring and management services to Serco Solutions and its customers and ensure that they derive maximum business benefits from their technology infrastructure investments. The technologies supported include Microsoft, UNIX (Solaris, HP-UX, AIX, and OS/400), Novell, Citrix, Exchange and Domino Servers, Oracle and SQL Databases, Network and Security Devices amongst others.
